Okay... so talk about being MIA for a very, very long time!

Updates...

May - went to Israel and came back 2 weeks before our wedding!
June - Got hitched!  For our honeymoon, we went camping (i.e. tenting) from Jasper all the way to Banff
July - P and I became involved in Muslim ministry, and I am currently still involved.  We were involved with an Arabic church, and a Ramadan prayer rally.
August - We worked on immigration for P - he's applying to be Canadianized :O)
September - School started for P and work started for me.  P is in his last year of school (hooray!) and I'm (hopefully) in my last year of teaching (hooray!)
October - I became involved in a Muslim-Christian dialogue.

So that's about what's been happening in my life for a while.  Married life is a ton of fun :O) 

So it's gonna be a busy time for us!!

Here's a monthly update... in March, we celebrated P's bday as well as our two year anniversary from the day we first "confessed our luuuuuvv"... :O)

Right now, we're a little bit overwhelmed with wedding stuff. I think it's hard for me because I seem to change my mind so often, driving P crazy! But we still have to find a jeweller to resize his ring (which he got made in Suriname), I need to get adjustments done for my dress (which I'm renting!), and hope to lose a few pounds, so I can fit in my mother's dress (for the reception) :O)

In between, P is taking 6 courses, I'm teaching full-time and taking 2 courses. By God's grace, we convinced a prof to make our last assignment "a visual presentation of our trip to Israel"!

And also, we are both moving out at the end of April, so there is the packing involved in that. We need to pack for things that we can do without for 4 months (that goes in storage), things we need for Edmonton for the wedding, and things we need for our trips to Israel and Brazil.

We have also, praise God, found a place in this exceptionally crazy housing market. We're renting a friend's basement suite, and it promises to be a LOT of fun! This will be in September.

I still remember when P, as a way of getting to know me, read 4 years' worth of my xanga entries...

But here's our schedule for the next couple of months.
May - go to Israel
June - get married
July - go to Brazil (Paulo's doing his 2.5 month intercultural internship there with a local church)
August - Phoebe comes back and preps for teaching, as well as moving in to our new place
September - Paulo comes back and starts school

Can anyone say busy?? :O)
